FOUR TROPHIES FOR NEXT EDITION
The IMS which consist of IMS 500, IMS 600 and IMS 670, and the newly incorporated Transpac 52 Class will lead the 2005 edition of la Copa del Rey.
 

The 24th annual Copa del Rey-Agua Brava was presented at the Salón Náutico de Barcelona with some important developments.

Last year a new IMS category was introduced, IMS 670, and for the 2005 Copa del Rey Agua Brava the Transpac 52 class will added to the competition.

With the innovator spirit that has always defined Copa del Rey - Agua Brava, the regatta is keeping up with innovations within the regatta world. The TP 52 division will be added to the next edition.

The IMS will consist of 3 category´s and nearly 90% of the boats entered will be in these categories while the remaining 10% will be in the TP 52 which is making it´s first competitive appearance.

The courses will be the same for the 4 categories, distinguished only by the number of miles that each category will have to complete. Off shore and windward-leeward races will form the programme.

The dates for the 24th Copa del Rey-Agua Brava are scheduled for July 30 through August 7, 2005.
